Final Thoughts: Hohem iSteady Pro4

In conclusion, the Hohem iSteady Pro4 is a reliable and feature-rich gimbal stabilizer for action camera enthusiasts. Its 3-axis design and iSteady 5.0 anti-shaking algorithm provide superior stabilization and smooth video, making it a great choice for capturing high-quality footage.

The multiple modes, including POV, Sport, and Motion Timelapse, give users more creative control over their footage, and the gimbal is compatible with a range of action cameras, including GoPro Hero 10/9/8/7/6/5/4/3, DJI Osmo Action, Insta360 ONE R (4K & 1-Inch), and SONY RX0.

The Hohem iSteady Pro4 is also splash proof and has a long battery life of 14 hours, making it suitable for outdoor shooting in rainy or snowy conditions. It can even be used as a power bank, extending the battery life of the action camera by nearly 2 times.

gimbal also has a quick mounting design and spring buckle for easy mounting and dismounting, and it can control the shutter button of GoPro Hero 10/9/8/7/6/5 cameras, allowing users to take photos or videos without having to manually press the button on the camera.

One of the main pros of the Hohem iSteady Pro4 is its good value for money. It has a range of useful features and performs well, making it a reliable choice for action camera enthusiasts. Customer support has also been responsive and helpful whenever I had any questions or issues with the gimbal.

However, there are also a few cons to consider. Some customers have reported that the image stabilisation could be better on its own without Hypersmooth, although when paired with GoPro Hypersmooth stabilisation, the results are excellent.

Overall, the Hohem iSteady Pro4 is a solid choice for those looking for a gimbal stabilizer for their action camera. Its superior stabilisation and smooth video, multiple modes, compatibility with various action cameras, long battery life, and other useful features make it a reliable choice for capturing high-quality footage.

Its good value for money and responsive customer support are added bonuses. While it may not offer the best image stabilisation on its own without Hypersmooth, when paired with GoPro Hypersmooth stabilisation, the results are fantastic.
